SentiSignal content is produced by a combination of automated AI pipelines and human editorial oversight. All AI-generated articles, briefs, and market analyses are reviewed for factual accuracy before publication. The editorial team has backgrounds in financial markets, data engineering, and applied NLP — with a focus on quantitative analysis and crypto-asset research.

Sentiment scores are calculated using two independent methods — a lexicon-based VADER model calibrated for financial language, and an LLM-based classifier — then reconciled into a single composite score. Discrepancies between the two are flagged and reviewed manually.

Methodology & editorial standards

Source selection. Sources are evaluated by domain authority, publication track record, and historical sentiment accuracy. Low-quality or click-bait sources are excluded. The full list of active sources is publicly available at /sources.
Sentiment scoring. Each article receives a sentiment score from −1.0 (strongly bearish) to +1.0 (strongly bullish) via VADER NLP and a fine-tuned LLM classifier. Scores are weighted by source credibility and article quality before being aggregated into per-asset timelines.
Article generation. AI articles are triggered when a topic accumulates sufficient news coverage. The 6-stage pipeline clusters relevant news, extracts key facts, cross-references price data, then generates structured analysis with cited sources. No article is published without at least 3 corroborating sources.
Price data. Prices are sourced directly from official central bank APIs (ECB, NBP, CBAR), exchange APIs (Binance for crypto), and government data repositories (FRED, EIA, IMF). No third-party data resellers are used for primary price data.
Corrections. Factual errors in AI-generated content are corrected with a visible update timestamp. Sentiment re-scoring is applied retroactively when source credibility ratings change.
